OUTSMART MOVING - M.A. Thesis
OUTSMART MOVING has been designed in 2019 and it is the subject od my M.A. Thesis at HMKW Berlin. What stands behind the creation of this application prototype is the need of enabling people (expecially tourists or people who did just move to a specific city) to navigate around public spaces such as train stations without getting lost, reaching immediately the right platform. In order to create and test a realistic prototype the application has been designed in order to function inside Berlin’s Alexanderplatz Ubahn Station. The design process involved: design and historical research, interviews, questionnaires, observations, studies of the ambient and its limitations, three prototypes (before the last version; all have been tested several times by people who fitted the focus group), colour coding and photographic documentation of the space and the interactions between users and space.
